Sina Foundation India organized a Tree Plantation Drive on 11th August 2024 on the premises of NAB Adult Blind Residential School. Institute’s secretary Mr. Shashibhushan Yelgurwar inaugrated the programme in presence of institute’s students. A team of 34 members of Sina Foundation planted a total of 57 trees/plants and 30 QR coded tree guards were put around the trees. Students present also helped during the event. Different types of trees such as Karanj, Peltophorum, Badam were planted. These trees/plants will help institute by providing shade, flowers and creating a calm space for students to enjoy their free time.
NAB Adult Residential Workshop School’s main objective is to provide blind persons with preventive medical assistance, educate and impart vocational training, provide employment, and make them self-reliant and resettle economically, Which enables them to be in the mainstream of the society and lead an independent life with dignity.
