Sina Foundation India organized a Tree Plantation, Breakfast Distribution and Cleanliness Drive on 3rd August 2024 on the premises of Rotary North Radhakishan Fomra Dumb and Deaf Special School. Principal Mrs. Gatade inaugrated the programme in presence of 20 children. A team of 19 members of Sina Foundation planted a total of 24 trees/plants and 4 QR coded tree guards were put around the trees. Children present also helped during the event. Students took responsiblity to nourish and nurture the plants. A cleanliness drive conducted simultaneously where weeds and unwanted garbage in premises were removed. During tree plantation, fruits were served by Sina Foundation which was enjoyed by children and members.
Rotary North Radhakishan Fomra Special School is a special school where children who have no/limited hearing ability and special needs are nurtured and schooled till 7th std. Teachers in school use special ways of communicating with students and understanding them. The staff and teachers make collective efforts to increase quality of students’ life, which can be seen from the happiness and eagerness to learn on students’ faces.
